Worship at Trinity
Worship is the heart of our common life—
where we are formed, nourished, and sent out in love.
"The Eucharist is not a reward for the good; it is strength for the weak,
food for the journey." — St. Augustine
Our Common Rhythm
At Trinity, prayer is our primary value.
Worship is not a performance to watch, but the work of the people—a holy rhythm that gathers us around Word and Sacrament throughout the week. Every service, whether chanted in solemn beauty or sung with acoustic guitar, draws us into the same mystery of God's grace.
Evening Prayer
Saturday 5:30 PM
Rite I
20–30 minutes
A quiet, candlelit service drawn from the ancient monastic rhythm of prayer. Using the traditional language of Rite I, this short liturgy weaves together psalms, scripture, and silence with a simple, reverent beauty.
Grounded in stillness and shaped by the Daily Office, this service is a gentle way to end the week or prepare for Sunday. No sermon, no announcements—just prayer that opens the heart to God.
Perfect for introverts, contemplatives, and anyone seeking rest and quiet before the new week.
Solemn High Mass
Sunday 9:30 AM
Rite II
75–90 minutes
Our principal Sunday Eucharist, celebrated with choir, incense (on feast days), processions, and the full beauty of Anglican ceremonial. Rooted in Scripture and Tradition, this liturgy invites worshippers into the depth, mystery, and joy of God’s presence.
Rich music, thoughtful preaching, ancient prayers, and sacramental reverence come together in a service that draws on the best of the Episcopal tradition. Children are welcome, and Coffee Hour follows in the Parish Hall.
Perfect for those who love beauty, ritual, classical music, and liturgical depth.
Acoustic Eucharist
Sunday 4:30 PM
Rite II
60 minutes
A relaxed, welcoming service shaped by acoustic music, contemporary hymns, and a warm, prayerful atmosphere. It’s fully Episcopalian—using the Book of Common Prayer—yet intentionally accessible for visitors, families, and those new to liturgy.
Kids are free to move, worshippers can come as they are, and the tone is gentle and conversational while still rooted in the Eucharist. Social time and refreshments follow the service.
Perfect for families with young children, seekers, and anyone looking for a more informal yet fully sacramental service.
Music at Trinity
Music is one of the ways Trinity prays. At our Sunday 9:30 AM service, we draw from a wide range of hymns accompanied by piano or organ, and the Eucharist is chanted. Our anthems span a wide musical landscape—from gospel and spirituals to Anglican choral works to contemporary sacred music—supported by organ preludes and postludes drawn especially from Baroque and French Romantic repertoire.
At the 4:30 PM Acoustic Eucharist, guitar accompanies our curated set of traditional hymns, Taizé chant, and contemporary worship songs. The atmosphere is warm, prayerful, and fully Episcopal, creating an inviting space for families and newcomers.
If you love to sing, we’d be glad to welcome you to the choir—no audition required. The main expectations are simple: come prepared, practice your music, and let our choir director know well ahead of time if you’ll be absent. And each week we post a YouTube playlist of the upcoming Sunday’s hymns and service music so you can listen and prepare. Whether by adding your voice or praying with the music during the week, you’re invited into the song that shapes our worship.
Daily Prayer & Livestream
“Seven times a day do I praise you.” — Psalm 119
The Daily Office—Morning and Evening Prayer—is the heartbeat of Anglican prayer and spiritual life.
Morning Prayer – 7:00 a.m. (Monday–Saturday)
Evening Prayer – 7:00 p.m. (Monday)
Weekday Eucharists & Feasts
Throughout the year, Trinity observes the Church’s feasts with simple, reverent weekday Eucharists. Principal Feasts—such as Epiphany, Ascension, and All Saints’ (when they fall during the week)—are celebrated with a 5:30 PM full Solemn High Mass.
Major feasts—including those for the Apostles and Evangelists — are kept with a noonday spoken Eucharist at 12 PM. These short services provide a sacred pause in the midst of the day’s work: a time for Scripture, prayer, brief reflection, and communion. Upcoming feast day services are always posted on our calendar, and you are warmly invited to join us whenever you’re able.
Private Confession & Reconciliation
“The ministry of reconciliation has been entrusted to us.” — 2 Corinthians 5:18
In the Episcopal Church, the Rite of Reconciliation—often called “confession”—is a private, pastoral conversation with a priest in which a person names their sins before God and receives counsel, prayer, and absolution. It is confidential, gentle, and rooted in God’s mercy, and it is available to anyone who desires it.
The General Confession we say each Sunday is full and sufficient for the forgiveness of sins, and most people rely on it as their regular practice. Still, some find that in certain seasons—when carrying heavy guilt, facing a transition, or seeking clarity—private confession can offer a deeper sense of healing and freedom.
Anglicans often summarize it this way: “All may, some should, none must.”
Fr. Chris is available if you ever feel drawn to this rite. Unlike most of other things which should be scheduled through the office administrator, you can contact Fr. Chris directly to schedule the Rite of Reconciliation.
ALL CONFESSIONS ARE ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENTIAL

What to Expect
Episcopal worship follows ancient patterns that connect us with Christians across centuries and around the world. You’ll hear Scripture, join in responses, and share in Communion.
Dress: Come as you are. If you’re unsure, or don’t want to feel overdressed, business casual is always welcome.
Participation: Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. In our services you’ll see people standing, kneeling, bowing, or making the sign of the cross — none of this is required, and you are free simply to observe until it feels natural. All baptized Christians, including children, are invited to receive Communion; others may come forward for a blessing.
Accessibility: Accessible parking and entrances are available on Algoma Blvd. The worship space has elevator access and is equipped with a hearing loop. Large print bulletins available. If you have additional needs, we are glad to help.
