Rooted in Gratitude

At Trinity, we give because God has already given so much to us. When we offer our resources, we echo the words traditionally said at the offertory: “All things come of thee, O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee” (1 Chronicles 29:14). Giving becomes a simple, real act of gratitude and a reminder that our lives depend on God’s generosity first. As we give, the Spirit works in us—growing a deeper trust in God, teaching us to live more simply, loosening our grip on fear and scarcity, and shaping in us a heart that mirrors Christ’s self-giving love. Our generosity becomes part of our discipleship, rooted in prayer and thankfulness.

Every dollar given helps Trinity do what God calls us to do—worship with beauty, share free community meals, teach and support our children, and serve our neighbors. These ministries reflect the values that shape our life together: prayer, service, hospitality, care for young people, justice, and creative problem-solving. When you give, you help these values take shape in real, tangible ways in our community.
