Worship With Us
Three ways to worship every weekend. One inclusive community. Always an encounter with God.
A Place of Welcome
Wherever you're from or wherever you are in faith—you're welcome here
Who We Are
We’re a church for people who love beauty, honesty, and depth — who find God in music, light, silence, and community.
At Trinity Episcopal Church, we’re rooted in Scripture, shaped by Tradition, guided by Reason, and open to Everyone. We think faith should make sense, not just sound nice. We hold on to what’s ancient but stay open to what’s new.
We know we’re not for everyone — and that’s okay. Our worship is reverent, our questions are real, and our welcome is wide. If you’re looking for something deeper than easy answers and broader than simple categories, you may have found your place.
Whoever you are, and wherever you’re coming from, you’re invited to be part of this community.
“God’s dream is that you and I and all of us will realise that we are family, that we are made for togetherness, for goodness, and for compassion.”
—Desmond Tutu
What We Believe
Trinity is an Episcopal church in the Anglican tradition—meaning we hold Scripture, Tradition, and Reason in dynamic tension. We worship using the Book of Common Prayer, a collection of ancient liturgies that connects us to Christians across centuries and continents.
Ancient Faith
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and confess the historic creeds. Our worship is rooted in two millennia of Christian tradition.
Scripture
The Bible is foundational, read and proclaimed in worship. We hold that it contains all things necessary for salvation while also studying it with reverence and honest questions.
Sacramental Life
We encounter — and become more like — Christ in the Eucharist and enter the Church through Baptism—grace made tangible in bread, wine, and water.
Radical Welcome
All people bear God's image. We celebrate same-sex marriages, ordain LGBTQ+ clergy, and center marginalized voices.
Justice Work
Faith acts. We pursue racial justice, climate action, economic equity, and immigrant solidarity as Gospel commitments.
Honest Questions
Doubt is never punished. We value intellectually engaged faith over feigned certainty; mystery is embraced, not erased.
Building for the Future
We're in the midst of a $1.3 million renovation of our Parish Hall, creating accessible, beautiful space for ministry and community.
Planning Your First Visit?
Here's what to expect when you come to Trinity
When You Arrive
- Wear what's comfortable to you (jeans are fine—so are suits).
- Park in the lot at 203 Algoma Blvd or across from 211 High St.
- Come to the gray stone building—enter from Division, Algoma, or the Algoma parking lot.
- Go up the stairs to get a bulletin, pen, and name tag from an usher.
- Sit anywhere in the worship space—ask an usher for help if you're lost.
During the Service
- Follow along in the bulletin the best you can—all the words and music are in there.
- The bulletin suggests when to stand, sit, and kneel. Do what's comfortable for you.
- Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
- All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion, and anyone may come forward for a blessing.
- Ask for help if you're unsure of anything!
After the Service
- Fellowship or social time after the 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM services.
- Takes place in the back of the worship space.
- Pick up a quick snack to go or socialize for a while.
- No one will pressure you to sign up for anything.
- Come again soon!
Our Faith in Action
Faith without action is empty. We partner with Hope Fridge, ESTHER, and local organizations to serve our neighbors and work for justice.
